The first place I fell in love with as a destination, was Walt Disney World.  In October of 1982, I visited the Orlando based park for the first time, and I fell hard!  The Magic Kingdom was just amazing!  The colors in the park were as vibrant with all of those Disney Animation features I had grown up with and I couldn't have been more kid-like if I tried!  The first time seeing Cinderella Castle was indeed breathtaking, and all of those attractions were incredible.

Then I walked into the newly opened EPCOT Center!  The paint was still wet on some of the structures, two of the pavilions were still under construction, and the phrase 'due to technical difficulties' was used quite a bit.  I didn't care! This place was a marvel in its own right.

Fast forward a few decades and you find my family of five wandering around the four parks of Walt Disney World, and you see a father falling in love all over again, this time seeing it all through my three kid's eyes and smiles!

That is when I first knew that I wanted to help others find this place and get as much out of it as possible!

And, for the last 10 years, I have been helping other families plan successful visits to the Walt Disney World Vacation Kingdom.

When Walt Disney first thought of developing Disneyland, he was sitting on a bench at Griffith Park watching his daughters on the carousel, and thoght to himself that there ought to be a place that families can play together and forget about the issues of the world for a short time.  I have realized that principal applies more today than ever! 

That is why I am now expanding ThreeStrands Family Travel to include other possible destinations for families to play together.  Adding more cruise lines, beach resorts, and other places to venture into, allows me to tailor your vacations to you family's specific desire.

I work hard to make sure that every family feels like a part of my family when it comes to planning new vacations.  No matter the destination, we can all be excited together!  

I will work for and with you to make sure that everything you are seaching for in a vacation is exactly what you get, and maybe a bit more.  I like small surprises, don't you?

I meet with each client in a place of their choosing, or a public venue, or even online, to get to know them and their family a bit better.  This allows me to understand what they want, where they want to go, and to answer any questions they may have along your planning pathway.

Together we will make sure you have everything you need to have a successful time with your family.  Time to play together!  Time to bond together!  And especially, time to Laugh together!
